| Sunday 6/9/02 ~
Adjusting the Sail Yesterday Kav and I went shopping at Valco. The poor mall is shutting down! We walked all the way across on the top floor and thought we'd go on the bottom floor to come back but all the stores were closed except for this lone bridal shop. It was kind of eerie. But I'm happy to report that I bought four things!! And they were pretty cheap too! I bought this dress which I'm still debating whether I should keep or not for like $15 (it's real price is almost $30!). I also bought two shirts and a cool jacket for my brother. Too bad I have to return one of the shirts and the jacket cuz they both don't fit right. But the fact is, clothes my size do exist! That made me happy. We did run into a couple mishaps though. First was in Macy's where I found this incredible sundress. It was this light blue and it was long (my other one's short :o/ ) and it was my size!! Of course I look at the tag and it says $73 or something. Ugg to Macy's and their expensive clothes. And at JC Penny's Kav found these amazing black jackets for guess how much: $7.99!!! But that would be too easy. So they made the smalls to large for small people like us. At least we know cheap and small clothes exist. It was a fun day though my feet were so tired by the time I got home! Definitely a day well spent :o) I also got really good news on Friday! I passed Poli Sci!!!!! I was soooooooooooo excited! I knew the final went relatively well. Not as well as my Anthro one of course but that's cuz I actually like and care about Anthro. But the final went better than my midterms. So anyway, I left feeling quite confident but I knew there was no way mathematically I could have gotten an A- in the class. I would have needed like 100% on the final. But I guess they curved the class or something cuz I did it! Whoo!! I was so shocked! :o) I'm meeting with my cousin tonight before he leaves for India for two and a half months. I'm gonna miss that kid. He's too cute. I always wondered what it was like to want to go to India for that long and to have fun while you're there. But it's great for him. He'll get to see his new baby cousin. I wonder how he'll be around him. Probably all big-brothery and protective. I think he'll get jealous too which is so cute! I don't know how to end this actually. If I could I'd just keep writing but I should probably do something about the mountain of clothes in the middle of my room. 2:44 pm ~
