The altar is one of the most important tools you must need for any Satanic
Ritual! A lot of Satanists like to place the altar on the west wall. While some
have other points they desire to place it. Some like to place their altar where it looks
best.
Personally I have placed mine in the south and in the west.
Both having the same effect�s my altar is made of a wooden square table.
That I painted black with glossy paint. The Center in back I have A nice wooden
antique mirror it has sort of its own platform. Right in front of the mirror
I Place the Wooden skull. If a human skull is not available a wooden one or
realistic one will do. This represents our pain and Joy of our vital existence.
Down in the center of the table I have cut out a circle of cloth and painted a pentagram on it.
I place my offering bowl on that cloth.
You can make your
own bowl out of clay you can buy at an arts and craft store. This bowl is
painted black.
I place my black candles around the bowl in a circle
On the left side of my bowl is a piece of old grave stone I found in a dirt pile at an old new England burial Ground .
On that stone I place 3 more black candles.
