LESSON 3 PAGE 1 

From our last lesson, we learned that to have the forgiveness of our sins one must: 

  1. Believe in Jesus as the Son of God. (John 8:24).

  2. Repent of all wrong in our lives. (Luke 13:3).

  3. Confess with the mouth that we believe in Jesus as the Son of God. (Matthew 10:32 (Rom. 10:10).

  4. Be baptized for the forgiveness of our sins. (Acts 2:38).

Since this is what the people in the days of the apostles were commanded to do in order to have their sins forgiven, we are able to read of it in the New Testament. The Book of Acts furnishes us with the following examples of conversions.
