Church Life - Music The music program at Church In The Hills promotes the participation of all worshippers in congregational singing and provides a means of allowing members with musical gifts to use their talents in the work of the Lord. Our choir is a volunteer organization which meets to rehearse each week on Tuesday evenings at 7 in the sanctuary, and frequently is prepared to provide anthems for the Sunday morning services and other special times during the church calendar year. Our instrumentalists add inspiration to the order of worship by playing solos and ensemble music. We feature vocal soloists frequently, using the emphasis of their music to enhance to the message of the day. Church In The Hills encourages enjoyment of sacred music by the congregation by presenting guest artists in concert and as part of the Sunday services of worship. |
