| Churchie (Anglican Church Grammar School) is a Greater Public School located in East Brisbane, Queensland. Since 1995 the School has entered teams ranging from Under 13 to Open in the Independent Schools' competition which is held on Friday afternoons/evenings during Terms 3 and 4. Other schools that take part in this competition include Brisbane Boys' College, Brisbane Grammar School, Brisbane State High School, Ipswich Grammar School, Nudgee College and St Peter's Lutheran College Churchie has played against touring teams from Sydney (The Scots College), Melbourne (Melbourne Grammar School) and the United Kingdom (Bedford Modern School). A large number of students have also been selected in represented teams at regional, state and national levels. Churchie is the 2003 Southern Skies Open Champions. |
