| Mateo Rene Diaz Veguilla was born on June 7, 1987 in Athens, Greece. My mother's name is Jennifer Brodie (formerly Jennifer Diaz Veguilla) and my father's name is Chuck ? (I don't know who he is, and frankly, I don't care). I used to live in Glen Burnie with my mom, "dad" (Bennie Brodie III), grandmother (Antonia Veguilla Martinez) and two sisters (Lauren, 10, and Audrey, 6), but now I'm up in New York for college. I have a male Shih-tzu named Zorro, a female one named Isabel, a German Shepherd named King, a white rabbit named Snowflake, and a domestic short-haired black cat named Gilbert. I guess I'm classified as a skater/prep, but I prefer to stay away from the drama of popularity and preppiness. I like to sing, play guitar, bass, and drums, play GameCube, hang with friends, listen to music, write songs and poetry, and chase after girls. Girls are my life. I can't live with them, but I can't live without them. But just remember, players only love you when they're playing. For all the ladies out there, I'm about 6 ft., 145 lbs., tan, lean and muscular, with a killer 6-pack and nice back and shoulders. Sorry, but I am currently off the market. I was the singer of the band Cyrus, until our breakup in mid-May 2003. I was singing and playing guitar with projekt: METH (MEnding The Hurt), until my hectic schedule resulted in me quitting due to lack of time. If I hadn't come to the academy, I'd probably singing with American Diary or for another band. I am planning to get a band started up here at the Academy. I have a drummer (Dustin Carter of Dallas, TX), a guitarists (me), and I'm singing. All I need is a bassist and possily another guitarist. If anyone up here in Great Neck or at the Academy is interested, let me know. I need the talent. I am currently unemployed, but on September 11th, 2004, I'm officially in the United States Naval Reserves, due to my enrollment in the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
