| Smokey Mountains | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Seand and I went to the Smokies during Jan of 2005. It was our first time in Tennesse. The weather was really nice (~60). We hiked on the Appalachian Trial which runs at the border of TN and NC. We also went on a hike in search of really old majestic trees. Here are some of the pictures from our trip. |

| Me at the Appalachian Trail. This was a rough hike with snow and ice still coevering the uneven trail of AT. And I also had to get used to hiking at elevatio close to ~6000 ft. You really run out of breath quick! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Oh we have so many of these pictures, where we take the picture ourselves.... The reason why I am making face is that by the end of this AT hike, it began to rain/snow/sleet for over an hour. Let me tell you it's very cold when it rains/snow/sleets in high altitude. Thanks god for Gor-tex! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
