Have a Strange Dream?
Everybody has a strange dream once in awhile. Like that night you ate steak for dinner and woke up sweaty at 2:30am because a gigantic cheesecake was chasing you down a dark road. Or when your room filled up with water and the dolphins somehow turned into sharks that were once goldfish in the very beginning. Here is where you can read people's strange dreams, or you can contribute some of your own by e-mailing me. (My
address is on the main page.) Just make the subject "DREAM" and I'll know what to do. (Make sure not to forget as I won't open strange emails. Do NOT send it as an attachment either. I wasn't born yesterday... Well maybe I was in my dream last night but thats beside the point.) Feel free to send in last nights dream/nightmare or even one you had a LONG time ago. PS- It is up to me whether or not your "dream" shall be posted. I'll e-mail you to let you know why it was or wasn't. Also be sure to let me know whether or not you'd like your name to be kept anonymous.
September 4th, 2003 Submitted by Mallory (Me) This is a dream I had a long time ago. I was little, maybe 4 or 5, still around the age that you need your mothers or fathers assistance to go to the bathroom. (I was too afriad to go alone anyways.) In my dream, we were at this big convention for my religion and I HAD to go to the bathroom. So I remember my mom taking my hand and leading me the way through the crowd of hundreds and hundreds of people. People that I could only see their knees since I was so short. Well I remember she told me to go the stall, prompting me one direction. The next thing I know someone's toilet had flooded the WHOLE bathroom. I was terrified as I couldn't swim, so I stood on the toilet seat as the water rose higher and higher. I remember trying to scream for my mother's help. I could feel the strain of the yelling in my throat, but no sound ever came out. I was crying, which was silent, too. The water was feet deep and I only knew I couldn't touch and not too much longer and it would be over my head. I continued trying to scream for my mother to no avail. Just then I see her floating by the open stall down in the water, her face under the water and her back up. Its at this point that I woke up sweaty in my bed. I don't remember anything else.

September 16th, 2003 Submitted by LizGirl When I'm stressed I usually have this dream. I've had it many times since I was a little girl. First it is all dark and I am falling. Then I land on a conveyor belt like the kind at the airport for luggage or like the kind in a factory. I get up and get my bearings only to find that just up ahead there is a large blade chopping up and down on the conveyor belt. Beyond that is a giant maul. Then there are several more machines and finally a huge cauldron-type thing at the end of the conveyor belt. I try to run the opposite direction and keep running until I wake up. Sometimes I have to dodge the blades or the maul.
September 17th, 2003 Submitted by Punxatawny I have been having dreams of my dad and me. Last nights was one of him reading to me out of a book called Oscar wilds Stories for children and it was the one about a rocket... It feels so read, you know like its actually happening again. We are laying on the floor and he is doing the voice he used for the rocket and I look at him and am laughing and tell him that I love him. The next thing I know he is gone and I am 15 years olf reading the book by myself crying trying to remember how he did the voice for the rocket. Then I wake up.
Submitted by Mallory (Me) September 17th, 2003 When I woke up this morning (actually woke up) I was still tired so I went back to bed. Then I woke up (in a dream) and I couldn't see clearly. So I went to put my glasses on and it seemed that there was a white circle I could see around each of my eyes. Like goggles, well I threw them off, and put on my glasses, but still couldn't see clearly. (I hate dreams when I can't see what I'm looking at because they usually are bad ones.) I decide to go and check on my dogs who are outside, and as I'm walking down the stairs, I look out the window at our landing to see a red haired child skipping about on the roof. I rubbed my eyes in disbelief (how would he have gotten up there?) but he is still there. So I called something out to him. He looked up at me, and frantically started looking for a way to get down. The next thing I know he looks me in the eyes and then holds a gaze and in an instant he disappears. Again not believing my eyes I blinked hard to clear the fog, and then I see the same child skipping about on my neighbor to the rights roof. Then he disappears again and I spot him on the roof of my other neighbor. Again I called out to the child, somehow fearing it would fall and get hurt. This time the child disappeared I couldn't spot him right away but arched my neck out the window and saw him crouched in the weeds next to the house and fence. Again I called out to him. The next thing I know, I'm in the garage (which didn't look like my garage) and I'm trying to get his and the dogs leashes all untangled. (Somehow I guess he became a dog.) Well then I remember Greta looked like a GSD instead of a Rottweiler, and I remember picking dirt out of her fur. Its then that I woke up, for real.
