First Paragraph

The first paragraph should explain why you are writing , for example, you are applying for a specific position or inquiring as to whether there is an opening with the company.

You should use your own and natural writing, do not use the standard opening found in cover letter manuals.
Do express that you are enthusiastic about the job.
