Well, that's another gone.  I'm talking about the latest departure  from our HK group, Benny.  :(  Benny has found his ideal job after graduation but the only catch was that it required him to re-locate to Calgary.  He's the latest to join a whole roster of HK friends who have moved away from Toronto.  First was Viv , who moved all the way to Japan to originally only went there to teach English but now, after 4 years, she is slated to stay there permanently as she will be marrying a Japanese man. Then, it was Anita , who flew to China to also teach English but has now moved to Beijing to work for the Canadian Embassy and is finding it difficult to move back to Canada. Then, it was Kendrick , who moved to Vancouver without telling any of us. He's also planning to permanently reside there. After THAT, it was Moaz who went to Malaysia to also teach English and who also found it difficult to move back to Canada and has extended his contract. And now, our honorary "girlfriend", Benny has decided to leave the proverbial nest. The double whammy of this is that we now no longer have any of the male members of the HK gang left in Toronto!

The other sad thing is that we didn't get to give  Benny a proper farewell because of his crazy schedule and such short notice.  Oh well, I guess I will just have to mail him his present that I had bought earlier.
