More self-reflection... and Happy St. Patrick's Day!
I was reading through my old eJournal entries on my old webpage and boy, did I every cringe!! Not to say that I'm some sophisticated, wise lady now but reading my first entries from 2002 made me realize how immature I was back then! Yikes. I also noticed how my writing style changed. I used write directly to certain people in my entries, kinda like giving "props" to my "peeps". Shudder...
Anyway, I'd like think that my entries now are more reflective of who I am now and also that my blog is more interesting to read now!
Speaking of which, I've always debated whether I should do something to up my readership. On the one hand, it's flattering to have a high readership ("Wow, people think I'm interesting!") but on the other hand, I'm a little uncomfortable about advertising my blog. I don't want to MAKE people read about my uninteresting life and thoughts. Besides, like I've said to my few loyal readers, those who do read my blog regularly are probably the people who are my friends with whom I would share my personal thoughts anyway. ANYWAY, this is my temporary solution: if you are a loyal reader and enjoy reading about my uninteresting thoughts, please feel free to recommend my blog to anybody else you know (you know, people are ALWAYS looking for a good blog to read these days!
).
