Happy New Year, everybody!  Today is the first day of the Year of the Pig, and so I must wish everyone a very lucky, prosperous, and happy year! 

Today, as tradition would have it, our whole family went out for dim sum but sans my beloved lion dance!  :(  I've always loved the heart-thumping,  adrenaline-pumping, eardrum-bursting drums of the lion dance!  It just wasn't the same without it but oh well, we have a lion dance troupe coming to the school next week anyway! :)



Right now, all the kids in the extended family (i.e. my cousins and I) are at my brother and Mika's place,  playing with PS2.  Tonight, we will have dinner together again-- what a great way to begin the New Year!
