Another stressful week at work, and another bad experience with crazy, demanding parents!  Why do these parents these days think that it's ok for them to bully their child's teachers??  It's absolutely disgusting and it really, really upsets me. 

Teaching is not a profession that everybody understands, which is fine.  I don't understand a lot of other professions either but I'm at least respectful.  I hate it that teachers in North America these days are treated so badly and with such little respect from the public.  Yes, our job does have its perks, i.e. great holidays, excellent benefits, and pension, etc.  But why can't people also understand that we also work hard?  Granted, there are some irresponsible teachers  or some who aren't competent, but again, every profession is like that, too.  Is it fair to judge us by only focusing on our perks and on those few bad teachers, and totally neglect the majority of us, the responsible, competent teachers?
