I think the title basically sums all that has happened in the past couple of weeks since the last update!    For those of who have already listened to me rant, I had a really bad week two weeks ago, starting off with accusations from a couple of parents that I was "lazy" because I didn't give out homework for ONE week!  It was not just me who didn't give out homework, all of the grade one teachers decided not to because that week was super crazy.  Then, when I informed a parent that his son was caught cheating on a spelling test, he basically called me a liar, simply because the son had "no reason to cheat"!

Amidst all that, I had to deal with the fact that I was being evaluated at the same time that I had to write report cards!  Needless to say, that week, I was one huge ball of stress.  I was not pleasant to be around with for those few days!

Anyway, I was evaluated and was told that it was "amazing"that know so much at this point in my career.  My VP told me that she was very impressed.    However, I don't have my official debriefing until next Thursday, so we'll see what else she has to say.

Last week was more back to normal, and I loved my job again. The highlight was when the chicken eggs that we had in the incubator hatched! I actually watched one  hatch! It was absolutely amazing to see a little thing like that work so hard to come out to see the world. By the next day, another chick had hatched and by the end of the week, there were four little energetic chicks cheeping away! We expect that there should be at least two more by Monday!

To end a good week, I was able to meet up with two groups of my very good friends on Friday and Saturday night. On both nights, I had a blast. Last night, we laughed and laughed so hard that our voices were all hoarse and our stomachs hurt! I haven't laughed like that for a long time. Thanks girls!
