These past few weeks certainly have been busy, fun, and interesting!  The busy part is that we've had our Curriculum Night (LOTS of prep work goes into that!), our first class trip, and re-shuffling of classes (big headache).  The fun part is all that stuff I did with my family and friends last weekend, and in addition my second trip to NYC this long weekend!    That's right, I've gone back but this time with my bro and Mika and drove down there.   The both of them were very sweet-- they didn't ask that I drive for at least a part of it AND they surprised me with the hotel that we stayed at--- the W, right smack in the middle of bustling Times Square!!    They had trouble finding accommodation (apparently, it was high season in NYC) and they tricked me into thinking that we had to finally settle for a crappy motel/hotel.  I didn't really mind where we stayed as long as the door lock to the hotel room worked, to be honest.  So, imagine my delight when they finally told me that we managed to score a (free) room at the trendy W hotel (the "free" part was due to my bro's colleagues accumulated hotel points that she so kindly let us use!)!  Lots of walking, lots of shopping, and some great food later, I'm back where I'm most comfortable-- home!  Thanks Gogers and Mika!

The interesting part is of some unexpected "developments"... anyway, after some freaking out on my part, all I can say is that chivalry is truly dead.  After some previous experiences (not much but certainly heavy-duty) and now this "experience", my expectations for guys have hit rock-bottom, yet my expectations of the "perfect" guy-- who will never exist in the real world--- have gone up even further.   My theory has been confirmed once again: all the good guys are either taken, gay or dead.
