Graduated from Tsun Jin High School in November 1998 with 10 'A's in UEC examination (A-level equivalent), I arrived in Singapore in July 1999 for my university study in National University of Singapore (NUS). Besides graduated with a Bachelor's Degree (Honors - 2nd upper) in Computer Engineering in May 2003, the moment staying in campus hostel (Sheares Hall) was full of excitement and fond memories.

In August 2003, I joined Institute for Infocomm Research (I²R) as a postgraduate research student, to conduct research for my Master study in NUS. I was involved in context-aware pervasive computing research, with main focus in the area of context resource discovery in pervasive smart spaces using Semantic Web techniques and Peer-to-peer network technologies. I also actively participated in the department's R&D activities, which include Smart Home Residential Gateway and Context-aware applications development.

I submitted my Master's Thesis in August 2005, and am now working as a Programmer Analyst in FedEx Singapore.
