~ Chapter 2~
The sound of the alarm blasted through my head at last.
  "Ugh," I groaned groggily.
I was beginning to think it was all a dream when my cell rang. I reached for it.
  "Hello?" I asked.
  "Jessie?"
I immediately recognized the voice as JC's.
'Oh my god it wasnt a dream'
"Hey!" I greeted with a new energy.
"So what's on the agenda?" he asked.
  "Say what?"
"You said you'd show me around. You didn't forget, did you?"
I shook my head lightly. "No, of course not."
"Great. Now I'll be by your house at around 10:45. Is that ok?" he asked.
I glanced at the clock. It flashed 9:48.
"Sounds great to me," I agreed.
  "Cool. Can't wait."
"Me neither," I replied, already going through my mind the clothes I had.
A couple long seconds passed by.
"I guess I'll go get ready huh?"
  "Yeah. I guess you should."
"Ok. I'll see ya then. Bye."
  "Bye."
I waited till he hung up.
My right arm went down slowly. I wanted this moment of glory to LAST.
  *************************************************
At last it was time. I wiped my sweaty palms off my mid-calf black skirt. I had a black tank top on and my mid back length black hair was pinned up in a hair claw.
I opened the door cautiously, my hands practically shaking.
"Hey," I said. My voice quivered from my nervousness.
"Hey. You look nice," he commented.
Heat flooded my cheeks. "Thanks. You don't look too bad either."
He wore a black muscle shirt and dark green cargo pants.
  He smiled. "C'mon."
  He held out his arm.
I inhaled deeply and took his arm. I felt undeserving and excited all at the same time.
He opened the door of the limo for me.
  "Thanks."
  "No problem."
I slid into the limo. The interior was luxurious.
"You act as if you've never been in a limo before," he noted.
  "That's cuz i havent," I responded.
He chuckled, sitting down next to me.
"Then let me give you the grand tour. Over to your left is a nice set of leather seats..."
  I laughed.
"So where do you wanna go?" he asked.
  "Depends."
  His left eyebrow raised. "Really?"
"Yeah. If you want quiet, loud, party, relax, romantic, exciting, whatever," I listed.
  He nodded. "How 'bout quiet?"
  "Then off to the Commons!"
I told the driver where to go and sat back just as we stopped at a red light.
I looked out and saw a familiar face out jogging.
  "Hey Keith!"
At first he looked confused, but once he saw who I was, he walked over to the limo, breathing hard.
"Hey. Fancy ride you got here," he commented almost suspiciously.
  "Oh. This? This isn't mine."
  "Then whose-"
"Mine," JC broke in, looking out the window also.
  Keith's blue eyes widened. "You're-"
  "Yeah that's me," JC interrupted.
  The light turned emerald.
  "Gotta go!" I shouted.
I quickly wound up the window and sat back.
"So...was that your boyfriend?" he asked catiously.
"Keith? No! He's just a friend. In fact, I'm not even dating right now!"
i hoped he would drop the subject. The last thing I wanted was to get into my past with Keith.
