| ~The Part of Me I Never Had 11~ |
| We finally got to Country Buffet meeting with some irritated men. What took you so long? asked Lance, obviously the only one not stuffing his face as if the world was gonna end tomorrow. We had some business to take care of, JC explained. What kind of business? asked Justin. Obviously not yours, I countered, nervous about anyone knowing about the kiss. He shrugged and kept on eating. Cmon. Lets get some food. Ok, I agreed as I got up from the table. ***************************************************************************** Halfway through dinner, You guys wanna go to a club? asked Chris. I dont see why not, said Joey. You guys? JC and I looked at each other. I shrugged. Why not? What about you JC? Sure. Justy? Im in. Lance? Nah. Why not? Ive got some stuff Ive gotta do. Ok ****************************************************************************** At the club JC and I were dancin like crazy. It was already 10:45, but we were still going strong. Then, I Knew I Loved You by Savage Garden came on. JC snaked his arms around my waist and I put my arms around his neck. We swayed silently to the music. JC pulled me closer so I lay my head against his chest. I could hear his heart beating a mile a minute. I never wanted it to end, but unfortunately, it did. Want to go somewhere else? JC asked. I nodded. We went to a lake and got a boat. There was a full moon out and the lake looked so beautiful. It reminded me of our first day together. Then it hit me. Thats whos following us! but I never got to say anything, because JC pulled me onto the boat. Cmon! he said. I smiled and pushed the thought to the back of my mind. I looked over the side of the boat, taking the beautiful scene. JC excused himself and left. A minute later, I could hear a thump of something, but thought it was a rock bumping into the boat. After a few minutes of silence, I began to worry about JC. JC? I called. There was no answer. I walked all around the boat. No sign of him. Then I walked into the cabin of the boat and looked inside. OHMYGOD! JC! I screamed as I ran to him. He had been gagged and tied up. He was unconscious. There was blood running down a gash on his head. I took off my shirt and covered his wound. The blood was seeping through easily. My mind was racing. I took off the gag and untied him. I cradled his head in my arms, praying for him to awaken. |
