Jessie and I stayed in my room the whole night, just sitting on my bed, holding each other. The others couldn�t understand our fear if they tried. There was someone out there, plotting an attack against me. It just completely freaks me out of my mind.
Suddenly I didn�t feel very hungry.
�Jessie?�
�Yeah?�
�Does he know I�m here?�
I could feel her shaking her head no.
�Thank god,� I whispered. �He won�t follow us around, will he?�
�I hope not.�
�Well, what�s he like?� I asked, hoping to get some information.
�He is very smart, logical, athletic, and fast.�
�Damn.�
�I just hope you don�t get hurt. Then no one will stop him,� she whispered miserably.
�Justin and the other guys can stop him too,� I argued.
�But they�re not you. If you were gone, I wouldn�t feel safe.�
I stayed silent. She trusted me that much. I couldn�t help but feel obligated to protect her.
�Don�t worry Jessie. I�ll never leave you,� I assured her as well as myself.
She hugged me tightly.
�I think we�re gonna have to cancel that date tomorrow.�
�Why?�
�I can�t take you out and have a good time when someone is out there, trying to hurt us,� I said sternly.
�I�m sorry.�
�For what?�
�For ruining your life,� she said softly.
�What? Ruin my life?�
�Maybe if I never went to that concert, never gotten those backstage passes, never met you guys, this would never have happened.�
�Jessie, please don�t say that. I could never in my lifetime regret meeting you,� I said sincerely.
�Why? There is some jealous maniac trying to hurt you, and you say you don�t regret it? Why?�
�Because�I love you.�
The words took even me by surprised. I only knew her for 3 stinkin� days! Now I�m saying I love her. But I did.
She looked up at me. �You love me?�
�How could I not?�
�Because of all this that�s happening right now. That�s what.�
�I can handle that Jessie, but if you walked out of that door right now, I wouldn�t be able to.�
Her eyes filled with tears as she hugged me tight. �I love you too.�
My heart exploded with happiness. Those were the sweetest words I had ever heard. Sure I hear it from fans everyday, but that wasn�t real love. Just a celebrity crush. This was true love.
I drowned myself in her embrace, feeling something I had never felt before. It balanced out the stress that had just been put upon us. That�s when I knew Keith could be beaten.

BBEEEEPP!!!
�Ugh,� I groaned, shutting off the alarm.
I tried to sit up, but stopped when I felt the dead weight holding me down.
Jessie was still sleeping. I looked at her face. Her face was stained with tears. I ran my fingers over her delicate cheeks.
It pained me to see her so sad and terrified. But I knew she was terrified for me. I could only imagine what Keith was capable of.
Hearing a faint knock on the door, I turned my head, �Come in.�
It turned out to be Justin.
�Hey,� he greeted softly.
�Hey.�
Justin once again sat at the edge of the bed, watching us.
�What�s the update?� he asked.
�Looks like we have a tough adversary,� I sighed, keeping my one arm around her.
�Is that why she was crying?�
I shook my head.
�Why?�
�She said when she looked at his eyes�she said that they looked murderous.�
Justin�s eyes widened. �Ohmygod.�
�Don�t tell Johnny. He�ll freak.�
�Maybe you could hide her somewhere,� he suggested.
�No,� I responded immediately.
�Why not?�
�I can�t.�
�Why not?� he questioned.
I paused before telling him, �I love her.�
His eyes widened once again. �You what?�
�I said I love her,� I repeated.
Justin sighed deeply. �Whatever you do man, I�ll be right behind ya.�

He smiled and left the room.
I looked down at her. She slept in my arms peacefully. I didn�t think that her night was filled with good dreams though.
�Mmm��
�Morning Jessie.�
�Morning C,� she grumbled, trying to wipe the sleep from her eyes.
�Wanna get some breakfast?� I asked.
�Sure,� she yawned.
I got out of the bed and stood up, stretching.
�JC, wait.�
I turned around. Jessie was getting out of the bed. She walked up to me and hugged me.
Surprised, I hugged her back.
�I love you JC,� she whispered.
�I love you too Jessie,� I answered.
She looked up and kissed my lips quickly.
I grabbed her hand and we went downstairs.
�Good morning everybody,� I greeted, sitting on a chair next to Justin.
Jessie sat down right next to me.
I looked around. �Where�s Heather and Lance?�
�They said they were gonna hang out at her place today,� informed Chris.
�I don�t think they�re gonna hang out. I think they�re gonna make out,� Joey joked.
�You guys ready for the tour?� I asked.
They nodded.
I sat back in my chair and sighed.
�Don�t worry C. Nothing�s gonna happen to you,� Joey assured.
�I hope not�
