Hong Kong (Random)

(Summer 2002) Bank of China Tower, Central District. Architect: Ieoh Ming Pei (the same guy that designed the glass pyramids in front of the Le Louvre of Paris) . This i took in front of the Hong Kong Legislative Council, next to the HSBC Tower.
*i'm quite obsessed with architecture

(Summer 2002) HSBC Tower, Central District. Architech: Norman Foster (i admire this Britsh guy, he’s hella creative at architecture and he created lots of builidings in Europe and HK, including the HK New International Airport, the new German Parliament, the renovation of the British Museum, blah blah blah lots and lots of famous projects i cant list them all now) u can go buy his design book that includes a selection of all his masterpieces at barns&noble or just get it at amazon.com (with lots of great pics of his work)

a street corner in Mongkok, the most densely populated place on earth. i dont even know why im taking all these pictures and i dont know why i was carrying my camera around HK. that’s why were all trying to talk to me in english and thought i was a tourist from japan... blah... i was going to a camera shop there to buy a new tripod cuz i frekin lost the camera mount for my old one and couldnt replace it... anywayz as i stepped out the subway station the sky was showering and i suddenly felt like taking a picture. notice the red-shirt guy is smoking... but then it's even worse in japan: virtually everybody smokes, at everywhere.

(Summer 2000) hong kong... a beautiful day... a beautiful place... Ding Gou Bridge, and at the back, Ching Ma Bridge~ 2nd longest suspension bridge in the world + with railroad in the under-deck... this i took on the upstairs of a double-deck bus when i went home from school.

i dont know why im so obsessed with these bridges, maybe it’s because i used to see them everyday twice. i saw them tunring from totally nothing to complete structures so i guess i have some connections with it. and they really looked good. the following 3 pics were taken long long time ago (like almost 6 years ago) when i was still in middle school. Surprise!~ the pics were nice! i found these in my old room's drawer when i went back to HK in 2002.

Ching Ma Bridge

this one i still havent mention, is the Ma Wan Bridge, which is connected to the Ching Ma Bridge to the Lantau Island and to the airport.

(Summer 2002) my lil cousin Ronnie and me at her bday party, the trouble is i've forgotten how old she was... well she's young... lol... she's kinda cool
