I don't remember names any more, let alone how to spell them. Movies we showed in the motorpool warehouse; 8mm skin flicks we rented from the Koreans for 45 bucks for three days. At a buck or two a head we'd pack the place with locals, Americal, Marines, Navy...Chu Lai.
Names like: "Junk base" and "Sand ramp", words that pop in and out of my mind from time to time. Before NSAD CHU LAI there was the destroyer, USS Morton DD-948.
