HELLO MY NAME IS BRYAN MYERS.
THIS SITE IS TO GIVE NEVADA'S HUNTERS SOMEPLACE TO GET INFORMATION ABOUT THE GREAT HUNTING IN NEVADA.
There are A lot of different kinds of animals to hunt in Nevada. There are several different rivers and lakes to hunt ducks and geese on. If upland is your kind of hunting then you should hunt in northern Nevada, they have one of the countries largest Chukar populations. Nevada also has a good sized Mule deer and elk herd.
The big game hunting season begins in early August with archery deer, then you get black powder deer witch usually starts about the second saterday of September and runs to the end of the month. Rifle season for deer starts in early October and runs to the end of the month also. Rifle elk season runs at about the same time as rifle deer does..
Chukar and quail start on the same day in early October. Pheasant season ranges from two weeks to a month, they are both in November. all upland bird seasons end in late January.
Water fowl season begins in mid, to late October and runs to the end of January. A lot of different kinds of ducks and geese fly through Nevada to winter. Some of the flocks even winter here.
