Welcome to my BLAH page

A place for me to ramble on about nothing. :)

Always under construction

So, what's new in my life? Blah.....I dunno. I just came back from Boston. I was there for about a week for this thing called the Harvard Model Congress. It was a lot of fun, and now I don't feel like doing any work. And tomorrow is mentorship day,...Yikes! argh, I don't feel like going. It's really strange... We have 4 people for my mentorship and one person's been missing everytime since November. We're rotating, each time. I was gone last week for Boston, and tomorrow my dear friend Alice's gonna be gone for her interview at Boston. Weird...it's a conspiracy! hehehe. Anyway,....about this Boston thing,...I'm finally starting to realize what IMSA is. It's a direct copy of this place called MIT. It's sooo scary. I had this MIT tour there, and it's exactly the same. I'm not kidding. Starting from intersession to mentorship to problem sets. Yikes! I also visited Harvard. Golly, that is the place to go. Too bad I'm not good enough to go there. But who cares, I was sooo amazed... Arriving at Harvard and walking across the Harvard Yard, it hit me....I was walking on Harvard campus! I was in shock for a sec. It felt wierd...and I suddenly felt soooo incredibly stupid. hehehe. I was even amazed at the little squirrels there..... I was like "man, they're Harvard squirrels... they can climb trees...." I was sooo out of it. But anyhow, I had a lot of fun there. Right now, I should be sleeping....ummm....but I'm not. I'm revising my homepage (duhhhhh). Oh, and I'm also listening to this new CD I got from my mom today. She bought me two new CDs from Korea. I love them, both. One's this group called Turbo, and the other one is called SES,...and every "guy" at IMSA are totally obsessed with this group. Suddenly, it seems as though, I'm getting all these attention from people for having these CDs. So, why am I up? Well, I had 2 cups of coffee.....a bottle of mountain dew a can of coke and lots of sugar. I can't seem to fall asleep. And plus, my roommates in the bathroom talking on the phone. She's been in there for the past 3 hours. I'm not exaggerating at all. Now, the question is,...who is she talking to. Well, if you ask anyone here at IMSA they would all know. But for those who don't....she always talks to this sophomore boy named Jung. He's a cool guy. Just talks a lot. =) Do I talk on the phone a lot? No, not really.....it's just my roommate. But the thing is, I make a lot of long-distance calls. Now, that's not good. Calls made to Korea and to Iowa....hmm... It comes out to be about $80-$150 a month. So, it's a good thing to stay off the phone. Plus, since I have internet connection, I can keep myself busy at a time like this. Oh yeah, tonight our school had this Lunar New Year Celebration. It was real hectic. Now, what did I do...oh yeah, I sang and danced and danced some more. My friend Tess and I had to sing this song called Oppa-seng-gak. geeez, I was so nervous. I was holding up the music and I was shaking so much. I don't know how I sang. But I know we sounded really bad when we were practicing. Tess is a real good singer...she's in chorus and everything, but me....booooo. I can't hit high notes. I like to sing, but can't sing well. =( I just hope I didn't mess up the song. As for the dances, they were okay...I think. Over all the celebration wasn't as good as previous years, but it was alright. I should probably go to bed now....my roommate's out of the bathroom now. She's just not off the phone yet. *sigh* I should turn in though,...or at least try to. =) wish me luck. See ya all later....
