Liability Release

I, _____________________(parent/guardian) understand that msuhing can be dangerous and can cause injury or death. I also understand that no one can forsee that many causes of dog mushing injuries or that many possible types of injuries.  On behalf of myself and on behalf of my children ________________________  I RELEASE the Chugiak Dog Mushers Assoation, the Chugiak Junior Dog Mushers Assoation, and the Municipality of Anchorage from any and all liability, should I or any member of my family, including my children, be injured at the Beach Lake trail system or during any event sponsored by the Chugiak Dog Mushers Assoation and the Chugiak Junior Dog Mushers Asoation. This release includes all injury of any sort, including fatal injury and including injury, which is not forseeable at this time.

The minimum age and experience limits for the various classes are:

One Dog Class:              Musher must have attained 4th birthday by the day                                                                    of the race.

Two Dog Class:             Musher must have attained 8th birthday by the day                                                                   of the race.

Three Dog Class:            Musher must have attained 10th birthday by the day                                                                  of the race.

Four Dog Class:             Musher must have attained 12th birthday by the day                                                                 of the race or have attained 11th birthday and have                                                                    completed at least three races with the three dogs.

Five Dog Class:              Musher must have attained 13th birthday by the day                                                                  of the race, or have attained 12th birthday and have                                                                    completed at least three races with three dogs.

Six to Ten Dog Class:     Musher must have attained 15th birthday by the day                                                                   of the race, or have attained 14th birthday and have                                                                   completed at least three races with five dogs or                                                                        have completed Jr.Iditarod.
