Introducing: Rose
Rose was bred by Rob Greger of Anduril Kennels.  She was the fastest puppy in the litter but also the smallest.  While she has shown moments of brilliance, she is a little lacking in confidence and is easily stressed, mentally.  Her strengths are her excellent speed, nice gait, and superb agility.  She is very light on her feet.

Rose was my very first Alaskan Husky.  I obtained her at three years of age after I handled for Rob for a year.  She has been bred once, and her puppies have been a mainstay of the Black Hole Kennels teams. Rose has run the Seeley 100 and the Race To The Sky 350.  All six of her offspring have also run in the Race To The Sky.

Rose is my favorite dog and has been a housepet since I have owned her.  She follows me around the kennel, and she loves to go for walks or runs.  She is not real crazy about harness work anymore, but she loves to run loose with the team.  In 2004 I used her a lot in lead for the tour teams that we were running that year.

Rose is starting to slow down to the point where she is usually last when I am free running dogs, but she still insists on coming with each group that I run.  She loves supervising puppies, and her favorite thing is to teach them manners.
