| Comet began her career as a sprint dog for Jim Orvis. She ran on his open team and also on his top notch 8-dog team. She also ran on my winning 6-dog team at the West Yellowstone race in December 1999. We acquired Comet with an eye toward breeding her. She finished the Race To The Sky in 2003 and was bred that spring to Pinto(Streeper). Her eight puppies are now two years old and are looking fantastic. Comet has an incredibly friendly personality. She is also a screamer when it comes to eating and running. Her enthusiasm can be annoying at times, but she is so eager to please that you can't help but love her anyway. |
