Cashew has done well in lead, and should develop into a very solid leader with a little more experience and maturity. She spent the winter of 2004 doing tours where she pulled an amazing amount of weight.
Cashew is one of the friendliest dogs in the yard. She gets along great with the other dogs, and she can be very talkative, trying to get someone to play with her.
Cashew ran in her first race at West Yellowstone. She raced in the 6-dog class for Kit Wolny. Afterwards, she went to a great new home with Julie and Prescott Nelson in Stevensville, Montana. She will be running with a small team of Alaskans and Samoyeds.
