| Amtrak is one of my original dogs from Jim Orvis's kennel. He is an extremely friendly, affectionate dog although he can sometimes behave in a bossy manner towards other male dogs. He has superior speed and a very smooth gait. He is also very durable and has excellent feet. Amtrak was a race leader for me in the '99-'00 season in which we won the West Yellowstone 6-dog race and placed 4th in the Ashton 10-dog race. In subsequent seasons he finished the Seeley 100 in '01 and the Race To The Sky 350 in '02, '03, and '04. Amtrak also participated in the Oympic Torch relay in '02. Amtrak is a dog who loves people and will run for anyone. He is a very handsome, affectionate fellow. |
