Digital Star Saga Image Gallery Part 2!
Hey all! How do you like the sudden twist in the storyline:)? Do you want to know what's gonna happen next? Well, do ya? I'm not gonna tell you:)
What I am gonna to is talk about my recent images and how they came about! Are you ready to rock your body? HAHA I had to say that...
The Soldiers Yes, it's basically a ripoff of the movie Godzilla, as I've mentioned often. The thing is with soldiers is that they are more like insects than reptiles; They all share one mind and are easily replaced. This lack of individuality constitutes a lot to their many losses. More on this creature as the series progresses.
Revenant Yes, actually, this would be a character that I spent two minutes drawing. I was writing Chapter 7 and decided, heck why not have a visual aid? It'd make more sense than my words. And it'd be easy to draw. Well actually it wasn't, but still.
Revenants are basically musicians and other performers who had their star crystals twisted by the Corpulence. They have the same type of power as *NSYNC does, only used in a bad way, which makes them very dangerous. They are also the crucial point in the Corpulence's grand scheme, which will be revealed in Chapter 8(God, I love adding to your suspense!)
*Christina Basics: I know she doesn't look much like the real Christina, who has a straighter face, blonder hair, a much smaller figure, and more defined eyes/eyebrows, but didn't I do an okay job:)? I actually had more fun drawing her than I did the guys. She's all curves; With the guys I intentionally put them in baggy clothes, with this I did most of her body in curves. No, it's not realistic, but hey. And I like the veils I added; Makes her look more 1001 Nights or somejack.
Colors: I heard somewhere that her favorite colors where powder white and pink or something, but purple's a pretty good color on her too.
Powers: As mentioned in her introductory chapter, Christina hasn't risen to her full powers yet(Well, none of the guys have, really, but that'll be revealed later on:)), but she has the power to induce headrushes. Well, no, it's like she bedazzles people and can attack their mind with Psyche Bolts of Psionic Force or something. It's all in your head. More on this as the story progresses and she appears more often.

The Backstreet Boys
Alright, what I could say is that I spent less than one-fifth the amount of time drawing the BSB as I did *NSYNC, and I'm sure that's what you all wanna hear:), but honestly I tried to spend as much effort as I could on them to make 'em look good. Well, maybe not as much time as *NSYNC, but you know...
At first I was gonna make their costumes dramatically different from the *NSYNC ones and have no individuality to them at all, but I figured that wouldn't be fair.
I also haven't thought of any of the attack names yet, but I'm sure to make them up on the spot when I write the next chapter:)

*Brian Basics: Alright, alright, alright...I'm very sorry. I honestly did not set out to make Brian look like a 40 year old on-crack camel, seriously! It kinda looks like him, don't it? Don't it!? Well, it does look kinda blank compared to the other pics, but that's 'cause it ain't filled up with weird effects.
Colors: Orange coat and red collar etc. I'm not sure why I picked those, probably cuz of his powers.
Powers: What, you wanna know about his powers!? He barely even used them yet! Wait till the next chapter! Oh...fine. Brian can harness and utilize a ball of pure energy that very closely resembles a flaming basketball. If you know about the Backstreet Project, you know that this power came from that. That's right, I stole it. But not really, 'cause it's Brian in both stories anyway, it's the same darn person, who says they can't have similar powers?
*Kevin Basics: Kevin don't look that bad...'cept for the fact that I made him as skinny as a rake. But hey, I think this is actually one of my better drawings.
Colors: black coat and white collar etc. I don't know, can you imagine Kevin in anything other than black?
Powers: I haven't really thought of Kevin's power yet(Oh, I'm such the responsible writer). I think it might be like the BSP and be like superstrength or something, but right now I'm thinking maybe power over gravity? I saw this weird X-Men movie prequel comic where Rogue absorbed the powers of a gravity-altering mutant, and it was tight. Kinda like Magneto. Oops...there I go again with the comics.

*Nick Basics: Okay, you folks have to forgive me on this one. I mean, I actually went and studied pictures of Nick Carter, but it's like in every one he looks totally different, I swear! Some have eyebrows, some don't, some are big-eyed and nosed, some aren't. He's scary. And in this pic he turned out a lot like his 'lil bro.
Colors: Some kind of blue-ish green. I don't know, does that look good? It doesn't even look like Nick Carter, really, so who can tell?
Powers: Power over water. I don't know why, don't ask. I'm not even sure how I'm gonna incorporate it into something damaging:P(Geez, I haven't thought of a lot of things, have I!)

*AJ Basics: He don't have tattoos. Well, I could say the tattoos were just too hard to draw on, or I could say that I shortened the shirtarms to make it look more AJ and then just forgot to put on the tattoos, which would be more true...X_X
Colors: Yellowish shirt and collar. I don't know why, dangit! It just made sense with his hair being yellow and all.
Powers: Alright, I know you guys don't wanna hear this, but...I don't know his power! I haven't thought of it yet!!! ARG! I just put these funky sprinkly thingies in the pic and now I'm left with all this pain and I've only got myself to blame!

*Howie Basics: BSB fans, I am truly, deeply, honestly, very, very sorry. Please pay no attention to the fact that Howie looks like he has a double chin or that he looks Asian or that his mouth is too high or that it looks like twelve or that his head is huge compared with his body or that his clothes belong in a bowling alley(Emphasis on the "alley").
Okay, you gotta take pity on me here; I just finished drawing four freakin' characters, none of which I'm too proud of, and now I have to stare at Howie's face from the official site for about twenty minutes. And I am not ashamed to say that halfway through I just got tired of it and went onto NSYNCstudio.com for their updates and that I was too lazy to draw his right arm(Which is why he looks like he's scratching his bum)and that after this traumatic event I am very hateful towards the actual Howie. Why are you so hard to draw, d***it!? Do I have to get Chris here to kick your...nevermind. Just, nevermind. Why doesn't he have a sleeve on his arms like the others? Well, at this point I got very angry at the sleeves. They were naughty and I didn't like how they made everyone look fruity. So I yelled at the sleeves and sent them to their rooms to think about my pain.
Colors: Weird light blue for coat and collar. I was trying to preserve what small amounts of dignity he had left, I wasn't trying to make him look like a bowling alley employee! But what's done is done, and it's too late to change it(Or I'm too lazy to).
Powers: Telepathy or telekinesis or one of those tele-Jean Grey thingies(Yes, I am very much on an X-Men rush, don't try to stop me!). His BSP power is to make illusions of objects, but I thought that was rather wussy. I think tele-whatsit is actually rather cool, yet is often associated with being a "girl" power(Even I associate psionic powers with girls...see *Christina above). Hopefully I'll write it out so it won't seem wussy.
Other Notes:
-Possible reasons for my BSB not looking as good as my *NSYNC: I don't know, maybe my heart just wasn't into drawing the BSB. I know for a fact that I got very, very tired of it, whereas with *NSYNC it was just painstaking, but not tiresome. Go figure. Maybe the guys of *NSYNC are just easier to draw, who knows?
-About the comic scene drawn in Chapter 5...That was hard! It took me the whole da** day, and I'm not exaggerating one bit. Mostly because I was new to the process. But since I liked how it turned out, there will be a lot more of those coming soon:)! See it here and here.
-As usual, go ahead and take these pictures if you like, but if you're gonna post them on your websites please ask me first and give me an acceptable reason why you would want to post my pics(These are so bad I'm not sure why you would want to!)
-And again, does anyone actually want to send me their fanart? If you like my work so much that you've actually made your own Digital Star Saga fanart(I wish:)), please send them to this address(It's different from my usual address)! I'll post them in a separate page and maybe even use your work for the stories themselves, and of course you'll be credited as the original artist:)!
