Okay...let me just say that I'm rather angry right now. That's right, I got shafted. I didn't find out until afterwards I went onto LiveDaily to rant about a rather boring show...guess what? The show I saw was edited.

AAAAAAAAARRRRRGGG!!!

What I apparently missed...segment with Justin/Britney/Kathy, the segment with Joey/Kathy and the segment with Lance/Kathy. Thank God they didn't edit over the part with Chris vs. JC.

I mean they literally had seven minute long commercials. I was just thinking throughout, hmm, *NSYNC are the co-hosts? Then why in freaking blazes aren't they co-hosting???

I'm mad, can anyone tell? And...and...waaaaaaaaaaaah I want my *NSYNC! I want my *NSYNC! Mommy they aren't giving me my *NSYYYYYYYYYYYNC...*sniffle*

So anyway, since I can't very well review the show without seeing it("Geez...shut up already!" I know, Erin, I know...:)),I guess I'll just list off the events that I thought were interesting(Be warned, there aren't many:P)...

*Just Got Paid: Once upon a time there was band of five guys who shook their booties and people had heart attacks. Okay, I don't know if this really happened...one can imagine. I thought it was a great way to start off the show, honestly, but I don't know just how much I liked the performance...too cheesy? I've dealt with a fair amount of cheese before, maybe I was just looking for *NSYNC to have a huge finale to their year, and this just didn't do it for me. I'm almost certain many other people like this, but...not for me. Sorry. Although I did like the clever takes on the bar scenes, and they still sound as good as ever. Plus they had some, eh, cheek showin' there which was, eh...

*I was surprised that Britney won for best albums artist, but didn't really think too much of it. It was deserved, and I think they count "Baby One More Time" in there too.

*NSYNC won for Album of the Year, Top 40 Album of the Year, and Albums Duo/Group of the Year. Also they received awards for best selling album or something, and I'm assuming they won for Viewer's Choice 'cause the last time I voted...er...I mean...when I voted, they were winning by a landslide.

*Christina Aguilera's hair could very well have killed small animals. But other than that she won for favorite female artist or something(Yeah, you can tell just how much attention I was paying...).

*Nick smashed Aaron's head with that huge fortune cookie. After I got over how weird that was, I must admit it was cool.

*Creed was cool, on top of Rio with his fans, and he won for stuff that I can't remember anymore. It's not my fault, they have like twenty awards with barely any differenciation between the names:(...

*But it was Sisqo who was the huge winner, grabbing A) A thong and B) Around six awards, and Kathy was...well, nevermind what she was doing.

*And then there was that fight scene which I actually did get to see...Chris vs. JC:):):), you know the way they were carrying on I wouldn't doubt if there's some, ah, bitterness between the two? Something looking as fierce as this can only be accomplished through two people who actually do have a strong vibe going on...I mean, can you imagine two people from any other music group being told that, "Hey, you guys have to put on a fight, make it look real" and going "Cool, okay!"
My cheese alarm was indeed going off on a major red alert, but I was able to push it aside. I mean, this is Chris and Jc we're talking about, cheese is must. We like cheese on Chris and JC. Some of us more than others.

*Destiny's Child won for Artist of the Year. This surprised and yes, even dismayed me very much. Am I glad they won? Kinda, they looked very happy and were genuinely thankful and surprised. Do I think they deserved it?...that's a difficult question to answer...NO. I am the first to admit that I am literally biased against anything non-*NSYNC, but truly? They dominated 2000. Year 2000 was the Year of *NSYNC. And especially talking Billboard Awards; The billboards are all about the charts, you can argue maybe that *NSYNC lost to DC in terms of hype(Losing two or three members plus a lawsuit concerning your father might do that...), but in terms of record-topping chart numbers? In terms of annual appeal, lasting appeal, public appeal, even critical appeal? Nuh uh. And you know that's what the Billboards should be about. I'm not(horribly)dissapointed that *NSYNC lost and DC won, I just don't understand why.

*Ah...the finale was rather...anti-climatic? Understand I just went through two hours of looooooooooooooooong-*** commercials about the dang club and the Sprite, so that might have dampened spirits a tad. Lil' Bowwow in a scooter...they just don't make child rappers like that anymore:D.

*And yes, Howie D is my new hero. He has initiated The Hug Seen Around the World. Could it be?...Actual first stages of peace after years of guerilla warfare? Understand that Howie has always been the lone BSB who never said a mean word about *NSYNC anyway, always the one mediating everything anyway, and rumored to be friends with several members anyway, which is a lot of anyways for this to be considered truly a surprise...but it still was. Even to me. And I want everyone, not just the fans and the media but also the other Boys themselves to look at this scene of Howie jumping up to grasp *NSYNC in a congratulatory embrace and just come to terms wth how stupid we all are.
