ABOUT INTERVIEW-
Billy Boyd

A:So, youre the voice of the Seed?
BB:(Laughing) Yeah.
A:Did you ever think one day youd be playing a seed?
(Laughing) No. It was fun. I just saw some of it actually and it's looking great.
A:When you put your resume together, whats it going to say Seed?
BB:(Laughing) No, itll say Glen.
A:What was the process like? Did you just go into a studio, watch the scenes, and then provide the voice work?
BB:Yeah, pretty much.

A:Have you done voice work before?
BB:Id done a lot of radio.
A:Do you have an accent for this role?
BB:We shall wait and see (laughing). It was a lot of fun, actually.
A:How much is your voice actually in the movie?
BB:Well, you know, its a full movie
A:So the Seed is able to speak throughout the film?
BB:Yes.
A:Were you familiar with the Childs Play franchise before doing this?
BB:I missed them until Bride of Chucky, which I thought was really funny. It wasn't what I expected. I thought it was a real sort of horror-horror, but it's fairly tongue-in-cheek, so I kind of enjoyed it. This one is probably more in that route.
A:Was the process like an animated movie where youre isolated from the other actors or were the other actors around?
BB:No, it was just me and then with the director, Don [Mancini].
A:Did you go back a few times to do different lines, like you would for a regular animated movie?
BB:No, we did it right through. And then I had to go back and change some stuff for one day, just for like a couple of hours.
A:Do you have any publicity stills of you and the puppet?
BB:No! Ive never even seen the puppet. Ive seen it on the screen, I just haven't seen the actual real thing. I haven't held it. I wonder if I get to keep it?
