| So what's the difference between a HTR-5240 and a RX-V496 DD/DTS receiver anyway? Not a whole lot. DIFFERENCES. 1. There are cosmetic differences on the front panel. 2. HTR models are usually sold at mass market reatilers, and RX-V models are typically sold at private, authorized A/V specialty stores. SIMILARITES.
