ONKYO TX-DS575x
Here is my review of the 575x copied and edited from my original audioreview.com post (huge review coming soon):

1.  EASE OF USE.  Beautiful gren display, large, foolproof buttons, knobs, and labels, nice manual, nicely laid-out rear panel.

2.  QUALITY CONSTRUCTION.  Brick House! Solid, heavy, brushed aluminum face, steel, sturdy.  Does not run hot at all.

3.  FLAWLESS DOLBY DIGITAL AND DTS DECODING.

4.  LEARNING REMOTE CONTROL. Probably the best remote ever made, I'd buy another one if I could...just hold up other remotes to the IR, and the remote will learn.  Also back-lit.

5.  5 CHANNEL STEREO & OTHER DSP MODES.

6.  TWEAKABILITY. Speaker volume, size, and distance settings.

7.  SEVERAL INPUTS/OUTPUTS & BINDING POSTS FOR ALL CHANNELS. 5.1 input, 5 s-video inputs, 4 video inputs, 6 audio inputs, 1 phono input, 2 coax & 2 optical inputs, 2 s-video outputs, 2 video outputs, 1 sub pre-out. 2 audio outputs, B-speaker terminals, AM/FM

8.  TRUE HI-CURRENT WATTAGE....70 watts per channel plays like a 100wpc Sony or Kenwood (in the words of Dan Coleman, a previous owner)

9.  CLEAN.  0.08% THD into 8 ohms to all 5 channels.  NO HISS NO HISS!

10.  OTHER GOODIES.  Power-on volume, FM mute option, late night listening mode, 80Hz freq. cutoff for bass management...

11.  VALUE.  Even at $500 retail, the 575x is worth it.  However, one can be had for under $390 shipped.
