Some Great Grandmothers
(circa 1930?)

The woman on the left is my maternal great-grandmother, and beside her is my maternal great-great grandmother, an Algonquin native from the Ardoch area in Ontario, Canada.  The man behind them is likely my grandfather. A close inspection of this picture suggests to me that my grandfather has driven his mother out to visit his grandmother, and they are looking at old pictures or documents contained in the box on the porch.
