I kept seeing her though, all the time. We always got along great and probably always will. I thank the lord for that. I started to feel sorry for myself and started drinking like a sailor after we broke up. It broke my heart at the time. I did all that, drinking and drugging and living on the streets for about 5 years off & on. Oh what a bad life that was. I met some good friends though on the streets. The streets of Gastonia ain't all that safe. Especailly when you are passed out all the time. I had money stole, saw ppl get jumped on over a quarter. Not a pretty thing to see. Like I said, I did that stuff for about 5 years, then I saw somebody that wanted me to goto work for them. He was a good man, probably saved my life.

He ran a resthome in Shelby NC, and another in Vail, NC. He needed someone to work for him and I was free at the time. And guess what? He had webtv. The 1st time I ever saw or heard of the web. Well I was hooked right off the bat, I can tell ya that. I figured out how to get into chatrooms. It was on then. I started going to talkcity playing around, just going in and learning what to do. I was as green as they come when it came to the internet and chatrooms. I when to a few room, but in the end my fav was 32-to-40-chat @ talkcity. I was kindly shy at 1st in the begining, but all them people in the chatrooms broke me of that. I made alot of friends in the chatroom, but my best friend in the world was the lady I met in there, she was PaBabe. Well we started talking in Dec of 1998. We became a couple, kindly the talk of the room. We talked for awhile and became real close. I came up to Pa to visit her in April of 1999, and moved up here in May of 1999. We have been together ever since:)
