Porters have a dominance of chocolate malt.
If you want to add some coffee flavor to your Porters try "dry beaning" in the secondary. For 5 gallons add 1-2 oz. of very coarsely ground beans (broken into
pieces with a rolling pin rather than ground in a coffee mill).
