Oatmeal Stout
9 pounds pale malt
1 pound carmel 60
1 pound rolled oat (5 minute oats)
1/2 pound roasted barley
1/4 pound Chocolate malt
.2 pound black malt
Irish Ale 1084 yeast
1 ounce Chinook hops for 60 minutes
Irish moss
I did a single infusion mash for 90 minutes at 160 degrees. I then sparged
with 170 degree water for 45 minutes. I boiled for 60 minutes with 1 ounce
of Chinook hops. I added Irish Moss at the last 15 minutes of the boil.
OG - 1.062
FG - 1.018
Note: There are not flavor or aroma hops in this recipe.
