| The Saber droids are used strictly by the Empire's elite dark jedi. They are often used to train against and can be used as guards. They are very expensive and are extremely lethal. Some occasions call for the Saber droids to be used as assassins (which they have proven quite effective). The Q5L5 model has a unique inserted lightsaber, which extends from one or both of the droid's hands. The hands of the droids also have their own power supply and have the capability of full range movement. This allows for maximum flexibility and range with the lightsaber. The Saber droids are very advanced and are not easily programmable. Not much is known about the droids and very few that have had contact with the Q5L5 model have lived to tell about it.
