| Mylonkann- This small moon is found in the Outer Rim territories, orbiting the planet of Obis. Obis is a large gas giant and contains no life or mineral value. Mylonkann is one of the 4 moons in orbit around Obis. It was once a decent sized industrial powerhouse, but now it is merely a metallic shell of its former self. There is very little population on this abandoned moon. There are hundreds of old, run down factories, abandoned machinery, and ghost mining sites. Much of the surface is covered with rocky plains and dust valleys. The few that do stay here reside within the abandoned factories or mines. Those that are unlucky enough to be on the moon have more than likely been sentenced to death by any given governing body. Mylonkann is a death sentence prison moon. It is owned by a large criminal corrections company called, "Zyler Corrections". The criminals here have no parole, and have no contact with the outside universe. They have been sent here to die. Death comes in many ways on Mylonkann. Some are fortunate enough to die soon after they arrive by shuttle, eaten limb by limb by the dangerous reptillian Dirx that lives in the sand. Some die from the ferocious windstorms that race across the surface. Some are murdered by other prisoners. Some commit suicide, some go insane, and some die of simple starvation. The average length of time a prisoner stays alive on the moon is about 3 months after arrival. There are no guards stationed here except 12 battle cruisers controlled by droids. No ships are allowed on the planet, the 12 battle cruisers efficiently enforce that. When new criminals arrive, they are shuttled down to about 3kms above the surface and then dropped out of the shuttle with a glide harness. They are approximately 870 prisoners on the planet currently, but the number changes hourly. |
