| Karideph was called a "dirty Coruscant" by an unhappy visitor one day, and it stuck. An entire city-planet, with very little room for expansion. Most of the citizens here are not unhappy with their state of living, they are simply used to the overcrowded situation. An advantage Karideph has to Coruscant is that there aren't as many governmental regulations on people's everyday business lives. People here are serious debaters, politicians, and business types. If someone wanted to find a place to make a ton of money (and not care too much for morales), Karideph would be the place to go. The government here is run by The House, which consists of 4,784 members. Needless to say, it takes time for things to get done in The House. However, things have run smoothly for the past 390 years this way, and most see no need for drastic change. |
