Eltan is a human male of some 60 years. Frizzled hair and mustache, slightly deaf, Eltan has designed and invented over 70 different types of droids including the R4, R3, as well as newer prototype droids for all duties and tasks. Eltan's services are not for hire, he works exclusively at the Mos Eisley spaceport with Imperial tasks. This is not by his wishes, although he will not escape even if given the chance (this was discovered by a group of Rebel terrorists in a most unfortunate manner). He is guarded by a full compliment of stormtroopers on a constant basis. He is not allowed to leave Mos Eisley unless escorted. His only love is droids.
