Long term goals- To fully master the lightsaber. What is it that drives Kyner- Combat Kyner sees himself as a warrior. He is very good at lightsaber dueling and knows it. He is confident and isn't afraid to let others know about it. Others view Kyner as rude, without compassion, and arrogant. He thinks everyone should be as perfect as he is. He does however, know how to fight, and he will get your back if you are in a pinch. You may not like hanging around him at a party, but you sure can count on him. Kyner was brought into the Jedi temple and raised nearly from birth there. He has no memory or knowledge of his natural parents or family. Felkirk Lo took Kyner as his padawan at age 13 and they were together until Kyner turned 21 and passed the Jedi trials. Kyner has a lot to learn about patience and compassion. He must learn to deal with others and not grow cynical. He does have a strong sense of right and wrong, but sometimes his attitude turns sour. When Felkirk Lo sent him to take the trials, he truly did not know if Kyner would pass because of his attitude. The last thing Kyner was instructed on was the Jedi Code, no emotion but peace, no ignorance but knowledge, no passion buy serenity, no death, only the force. Kyner struggles with his quick, angry impulses and must continually keep up his guard against the dark side. |

Thurk il'Vondus Thurk was born on the Duros home planet, Duro and has lived on Koosan III, one of the seven orbiting cities, all of his life. Most Duros are known for wanderlust and space travel, but Thurk is much different than most of his race in this aspect. His main interest lies in blasters. Rifles, pistols, old models, new models, you name it he knows about it. He grew up living at home with his parents for most of his young life. His father is a successful businessman and his mother is a novelist. He has three older brothers and one younger sister, all of which have taken off for the hyperspace lanes. He graduated from Koosan College, a small junior university, and moved out of his parent's home into a small, two bedroom apartment. It was then that he began to work full time at a weaponry shop for a Duros named Nylo. The weapon store had several range facilities and many weapons. Thurk gained most of his knowledge about weapons from Nylo and the store. He was able to use the store's range and shooting courses as often as he wanted, which was usually every day. Nylo and Thurk became very good friends, both being avid gun nuts. Imperial recruiters visited the orbiting city of Koosan III in hopes to gain some Duros for work. Thurk was on his way to Nylo's to shoot his favorite obstacle course one evening and saw three Imperials talking with a younger Duros in the parking area of Koosan College. Thurk walked by them and continued on his way to Nylo's thinking it was none of his business. He overheard the recruiters talking about some aspect of what the Empire had to offer and thought for sure they would stop him and talk about joining up. But they didn't, they only nodded at him as he walked by. He got a few blocks away and something told him to go back. He got a feeling that something wasn't right and turned around. Just as he turned the corner and was in sight of them again, he witnessed one of the Imperial recruiters put a heavy blaster pistol to the young Duros' head and pull the trigger. The Duros was dead before he hit the ground. Thurk ducked behind a large garbage recycler and pulled his sporting blaster rifle from its case. He watched in horror from nearly 150 meters away as the Imperials picked up the dead body and quickly started dragging it to their nearby vehicle. Outraged, Thruk lined up his sights on the Imperial with the gun, who was now looking around for any witnesses. He fired. Thurk's laser bolt struck the Imperial in the face and he fell onto his back dead. Thurk grabbed his case and ran all the way to Nylo's where he stayed all night. News had spread quickly and the Imperials told the media one of their own had been murdered without provocation. They demanded justice and threatened to bring soldiers to the planet if they needed to. Thruk told no one except for Nylo about what happened. Nylo encouraged him to flee the planet and find a new life, away from the Empire. Thurk used what money he had and paid for passage to the Minos Cluster, in the Outer Rim. Nylo gave Thurk a new sporting blaster rifle, his favorite in the store, as a parting gift. Thruk left his planet at age 22 and has not been back since. In the Minos Cluster, on the planet of Travin, he made a few friends and has been with them since. Lifestyle- simple, always looking for something dealing with guns Enemies- The Empire, if they discovered he shot the Imperial recruiter all those years ago. Good contact- Nylo, the weapon store owner on Koosan III. Hobbies- guns, guns, guns. Favorite music band- The "Mytolinkus" which in Duro means, "planet that sucks". Heavy metal type, anti-government (not restricted to the Empire, but they hate them too). Favorite drink- Krobx shot (very strong liquor) Favorite toy/equipment- His sporting blaster rifle. Physical traits- average height, skinny, deep voice. Good mental traits- tries really hard at things he likes, easy going, laid back personality, a very dry sense of humor. Bad mental traits- lazy if he has to do something he doesn't like or doesn't think important, sometimes sticks his foot in his mouth, gripes a lot if he doesn't have it easy. Social traits- likes to mingle, enjoys sporting/ gun stories, easy talker. What drives him- the perfect shot. Habit- tends to lose track of time. Goals- to have a fun, adventurous, hard-work free life, and save up enough money to eventually run his own weapon shop. Views self as laid back, good looking Duros that is an excellent shot. Others view him as a tall, lanky, complains if not his way type of guy that is an excellent shot.

Nao Burc Born on the planet of Rudrig in the Corporate Sector. Parents were Teggla and Laynie Burc, killed in a science experiment that went bad. Nao was age 9 when they died. He was taken into the orphanage of one of the universities on the planet. He has a very high level of intelligence and was in the top 4 percent of all the universities on the planet. He attained 4 different degrees at 3 different universities, all on Rudrig. His masters degrees are in languages, medicine, droid theory, and theoretical computers. He never had a job growing up, he only spent time with his education. No military experience. No criminal record. Most of his life was spent in various libraries, classrooms, and computer labs. Never married, never had a girlfriend type of relationship, and will probably never get up enough nerve to have one either. He is very nervous around females and is completely at a loss in this area of life. He is more comfortable around droids, computers, and books than he is with humans or other races. Lifestyle- quiet, a lot of time spent in study and reading. Afraid of confrontation. No known enemies. Contact- a professor at one of the universities was the closest thing he had to a friend growing up. Professor Murta taught one of Nao's computer classes and the two were very much alike. Nao has never been drunk, had sex, or broken the law. Hobbies- working with droids, computers, solving difficult mathematical problems. What drives him- innovation. Physical traits- short, skinny, pale skin and glasses. There isn't an athletic bone in his body. His hair is usually messed up and going in one or two different directions. His face is round with a pointed nose and he has small, beady eyes. Yes, he looks like a dork. Good mental traits- always thinks ahead, has two ideas on what to do at any given time (but he would hardly say it aloud), probably too smart for his own good. Bad mental traits- is afraid to talk to people for fear of upsetting them, absolutely terrified of human females, very poor conversation skills with people. Unsure of himself if not in his element. Social traits- Nao is the opposite of social. At a party he would wait out in the car if he could... the entire time. When he is alone is when he is himself, rarely around anyone else. Has a tendency to let others be social, and he will just stay in the background. Habits, quirks- is always cleaning his glasses. If bored he will lapse into a day dream about the latest brain teaser or math problem he is working on, and lose touch with his surroundings. Nao realized his time was up with the Minos Factor after nearly 4 years with the group. He decided to move back to his home planet and work with different Universities there. He parted on good terms with the group and has kept in touch via holo-mail.

Dean Lager Dean Lager's past isn't the brightest, or most rose colored by any stretch. He has worked for any number of different employers at one time or another. He worked as a bounty hunter for nearly 7 years before quitting and moving on to something else. For nearly 2 years, he worked as a smuggler, finding it a little easier to make ends meet by shipping goods rather than hunting them down. He purchased a brand new YT-2400 freighter and began working on it. With the different jobs coming at different times, it was tough to put the type of modifications he wanted into it. After he met up with Kyner Vorn, they started taking on a different sort of jobs. Dean wasn't opposed to the new line of work, as long as it brought him money for his ship. A friendship formed between Kyner and Dean and they soon made a name for themselves in the Minos Cluster sector. Dean's morales and values have changed a little since he first started adventuring at the age of 20, but he would argue that point with you. Dean's ship has been the topic of many conversations for the past few years. The reason being, he hasn't come up with a name for it. (Kyner would tell you it is because he is too stuborn, now that everyone bugs him about it.) Everyone knows it is unlucky to fly a ship that doesn't have a name, but according to Dean, the ship has done pretty well. It has been beat up, crashed, and bruised a number or times, but it still keeps ticking. Currently he is one of the main figures in the group known as the Minos Factor.

Yallik Misnser Yallik has always been poor, he doesn't plan on staying that way. He is always trying to make money, Imperial credits, Republic credits, it makes no difference to him. Yallik is not what you would call a "Team" player, he will do whatever benefits him first, the others can take care of themselves, and if they can't it is their problem. Yallik loves to haggle, bargain, and make deals. He is an excellent speaker.

Nuveb Bladuu Born on Sullust, moved away at a young age and entered the Republic's Navy at the age of 17. His talent and passion lies with flying starfighters, namely A-wings. He served for 4 years in the military and left, without making too much of a name for himself, other than being known as a good pilot. He left with an old beat up A-wing which was scheduled for the surplus line. It had been crashed and had nearly 30,000 credits worth of damage done to it. Nuveb spent over a year working on it to get it space worthy, and even now, it isn't up to top notch running condition. But he plans to change all that as soon as he can get enough money. One of his goals is to completely restore it. He is an excellent pilot and loves to fly his A-wing. He met up with Kyner Vorn on Ord Mantell in 51ASW4 and partnered up with him to help locate some friends of his. He is a strong supporter of the New Republic and will fight against Imperials without the slightest hesitation. Well, as unluck would have it, Nuvey's A-wing was destroyed during an assassination attempt. Poor Nuveb.

Jesner Fabe Jesner met up with the Minos Factor just as the rebel base on Elrood was getting hammered by the Empire. The group aided Jesner in allowing her troops to evacuate by creating a very destructive diversion. She resigned from her position with the New Republic after the battle and joined the Minos Factor. Her relationship with Dean Lager has been somewhat of a mystery, neither party giving much information to other curious members of the group. Jesner is very determined to be a strong, fierce fighter against the remnant of the Imperial faction. She is smart, quick on her feet, and very level headed during combat. She grew up on the back water world of Kaybon and joining forces with the Minos Factor was a home coming for her. Currently she is Dean's co-pilot and gunner on board his YT-2400 transport. It does annoy her to no end that the ship has no name, and still thinks it is very unlucky to be riding around on a ship with no name. She has tried to break Dean down and name the ship, but has had no luck... with Dean being the MOST TALKATIVE person in the galaxy.

Groth A gladiator from the planet of Pzob. Known for amazing strength and his unbeaten record as a gladiator. He served for nearly 3 years as a fighter and made his owners a great deal of money. Recently he was granted freedom and joined the group known as the Minos Factor. His freedom came as Nelga the Hutt tried to purchase him through Weliy Poosz. Weliy, always having a few favors owed to him, had Yallik Misnser transport the gladiator. During the "shady ordeal" Groth was granted freedom by Yallik and the rest of the Minos Factor. Even though it did cost Yallik and the others. Weliy got wind of the group's move and set a massive bounty on Yallik and the rest of the Factor. Nelga the Hutt was also enraged (becuase of the potential money she would have made at Groth's expense) and upped her bounty on the group as well. She also planted a few thorns in the side of Weily and his organization, considering him to be on her bad side. Groth decided to stay with the group, even though there are a couple of droids hanging around...
