Step 4
Next comes the fun part!  Put the plastic in a heat resisting bowl (I'm using a microwave safe bowl here) and point the heat tool directly at it.  Try not to move the heat tool around keep it pinpointed.

It only takes a few seconds for the plastic to heat up and start to shrink.  It'll start to run around in the bowl, so you'll have to follow it around with the heat tool. 
Step 6
It will keep on shrinking until it lays flat like this.  Then you have to turn it over (it's HOT so be careful!) and quickly heat up the back.  Turn off your heat tool.  It should be flat in the end, but if it isn't, you can use something to press on it the minute you take the heat tool off.  If you want it to have a bit of shape, then before it cools, use your fingers to bend it however you want. 
Finished!
Here's the finished product.  Depending on how small you cut your plastic, they can range from as small as your fingernail to as big as your finger.
