The elections are coming up and this is a very important time in America.  Each and every person that is eligible to vote will have to choose the best candidate for the American’s Presidency.  Although there are various candidates, there is only true candidate, which is Al Gore.  Vote for Gore!  He is strong on issues such as conserving the environment, Pro-choice, Fighting Crime and the Drug War.  These issues are very important to Gore, which makes Gore the only candidate fit for the job, because he knows the right way.
     Vote for Al Gore because he is for making America clean and obtaining affordable energy while helping to conserve the environment.  Gore does not believe that America should invade our precious environmental treasures such as the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.  Gore believes, as stated in one of his debates, that we should conserve the environment and invest our time and money into new technologies that are more environmentally protective and safe, but also efficient.  For example, in creating newer cars that can get 80 miles per gallon.  Also converting the old power plants and factories into newer ones, which are more environmentally safe and cleaner sources of energy.  To exploit the oil from our reserves in Alaska would be pointless, because it would take years to see the benefits and would last a very short time, and within this time destroy the environment.  As said by Gore in his debates he believes that we should get oil from OPEC (Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries) and conserve our natural resources.  Gore is going to help the American family to make gas affordable for cars and heating in the near future, while also investing in this new technology for the long haul.  In doing this the American future will have a longer lasting and more reliable energy supply.  It will help to keep the environment clean and place a reversal on Global Warming.  Al Gore has said that he wants clean water and clean air, and to get this, one needs to protect the environment.  Al Gore knows the right way and is the one to vote for the Presidency.
     Gore does not only know the right way on environmental and oil issues but is Pro-choice.  As stated by Gore in a campaign speech he believes in Women’s Right and is willing to fight for them.  He believes that women have the right to choose to have an abortion or not.  Why should the government be able to tell a woman that has been raped or that does not want a baby that she did not ask for, that she would have to have it.  The bottom line is that it is the Woman’s’ body and she has the right to choose what goes on inside of it.  Therefore, vote for Al Gore because he fights and continues to fight for the Woman’s right to choose.  He knows the right way and is the only possible choice for the Presidency.
     Al Gore is also into fighting Crime and the Drug War nationally and internationally.  Al Gore says he will put more police officers on the streets in America.  These officers will be better trained and equipped to handle their jobs of keeping our streets safer and a place for kids to grow up without crime.  He will give the better equipment and Hi-tech technology so the police can fight crime harder. This is a major step in fighting the crime, more police officers in not the only solution.  He proposes implementing tougher laws that will help to keep and prevent criminals from getting off to easy and going straight back to the streets.  For example, Gore will raise the penalty to those who commit crimes against the vulnerable, like children and the elderly.  Also this will include very tough penalties to all sex offenders.  These tougher laws will help to deter crime and to put away those repeat offenders.
     The Drug Problem is still a major problem and Gore declares that he will give a better message to the children of America that drugs are wrong and that they should not be used.  He will put on a nationwide crusade aimed at fighting the Drug War.  He will push for faster justice on drug related crimes.  He will come down on the drug hotspots and aggressively target the drugs.  He will expand the drug treatment aimed in keeping the youth off drugs, and also by enforcing Drug free school zones.  This is very important in American Life and Gore will fight for this.  The drug problem does not start here, so Gore states that he will fight the source of these drugs by giving aid to the Colombian Government.  Colombia is a major producer and exporter of drugs such as cocaine, marijuana and many other drugs.  Gore will support the Clinton proposal of 1.6 billion dollars to help train the Colombian Police.  In training the police, they will become better equipped for fighting this major war on drugs.  This aid will not only help the police but will go into the court systems in making them more effective and better enforcing of the laws.  This money that Gore will give will also go into the eradicating of the drugs crops and in preventing the cultivating of these illegal drugs.  This will tend to hurt the Colombian peasants, but this money will go into raising their economic standing making other crops a better moneymaker so drugs will not be produced.Gore will fight crime and fight the Drug War.  He knows the right way for America’s future and is the only real candidate for the Presidency.
     Vote for Al Gore.  He is the Future of America and will lead this nation prosperously.  There are other candidates, but once a again, who else could you want, but the person that is going to save the environment, is Pro-choice and is going to fight Crime and the Drug War.  There is nobody more fit for the job that Al Gore, so please everyone go out and vote and support America’ Future in Al Gore.
