The first trick you should learn on pipe, I recommend trying this on a kicker or a flybox first. Make sure you have proper balance on a skateboard, maybe 2 months in skating. Now with you tail on the coping, put all your weight forward and do not lean back at all, 99.9 percent of the time beginners fall back, not forward. Don't be afraid to lean forward, you may regret it later. That's basically all you have to do. Just do this fast and quickly and you should be fine.
