Lake Winnebago at the lakefront park in the city of Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin. I stayed in Fond Du Lac during my trip. The fierce heat during the day, (it was near 100F all weekend,) took it's toll on me so after being at the track all day I did not get to check out the city as much as I would have liked. I did make it to the lake. The park was really impressive with gardens, a lighthouse and a steam engine on display. The rest of the city seemed like a pretty neat place as well and there were a lot of people out cruising with classic and hot rod cars. |
