Ingredients:

3 chicken thighs, cut into serving pieces

Marinade:

1 tbsp light soya sauce  
1 tbsp shaoxing wine  
1/2 tsp pepper

Gravy:

2 tbsp Marmite yeast extract  
2 tbsp Maltose
1 tbsp honey  
2 tbsp water  



 

Method:

 

1. Combine chicken with marinade and marinate for 30 mins.
2. Heat up oil for deep-frying, deep-fry chicken till brown and cooked.  Dish up.
3. Heat up a clean wok, pour in water, then follow by the remaining gravy ingredients.  Use low heat, keep stirring constantly till the gravy is thick.  Add in chicken & toss well. Dish up & serve.
