| Expect... to think or believe something will happen or someone will arrive... Truly loving another means letting go of all expectations, it means celebration or even the full acceptance of his/her personhood... Epectations, probably the opportunity cost of falling in love with someone... perhaps not all of them but enough for you to ponder over this relationship... Why do you like him? what of him attracted you? you don't even know the answer... are you happy with him? does he treat you well? what's the sweetest thing he's ever done for you? you don't know how to answer... When someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, it doesn't mean he/she is not loving you with all his/her heart... You learn from every relationship... learn to trust, to be contented, to be understanding and compromising... learn to confide in each other, to share your burdens... to listen with an open mind and to speak from your heart... Shunning from a problem will only aggreviate the strained situation... you know that. but you don't wish to be upset by the ongoing quarrels... you don't like to think about unhappy stuff... So what happens? obviously this was not what you had presumed in the first place... Try asking yourself, did you ever open up your heart? you love to listen but have you conveyed your thoughts? the desire to be told what's going on in the mind is mutual... no one wished for this... even a remedy may not cure... Pray hard... for i seriously hope history will not repeat itself... Probably it's time to adapt... stubborness doesn't work right here, right now... |
