Opening Statement.
I have no illusions. This will be a gargantuan challenge. Physical exertion +
rough sleeping x 100% inedible food looks like an incalculable sum. Despite
this I'm looking forward to Georgia and the long march, because I know we
have what it takes to succeed (patriotic military music begins to play). I'm
doing this because it's a once in a lifetime opportunity to waddle through
the wilderness with the knowledge that the woman I love will protect me from
the vagaries of a hostile environment. The bear throwing classes and snake
communication lessons, Christian has completed, can now be utilised to their
full effect.
