The Hughes Branch

    Jeptha Hughes and his wife Betsy Hill Hughes were pioneers to Tioga Co. Pennsylvania.

    Jeptha's  son , Frederick Hughes and his wife, Harriet Van Wey  Hughes raised a large family at Mitchel's Creek in Tioga Co., PA.

     Frederick's son Simeon and wife Fannie Westlake Hughes were the parents of three boys; Jeptha, Richard, and Roy.
